The books have arrived! I apologize to anyone who went to buy a copy at Bookshop Santa Cruz or Kelly’s Books in Watsonville early in June.

Now that the books are on the shelves, it’s time for me to spring into action.

You can read about how One Gun came to be now at George Cramer’s blog site.

On June 22, I will be at Kings River Life Magazine writing about blurbing. I’ve received lovely endorsements for One Gun and I offer a few tips for how to obtain them.

The first event to celebrate the release of One Gun is the big virtual launch. Please join me in conversation with Edgar-nominated author Susan Bickford: Tuesday, June 28th, at 6 p.m. (Pacific Time). You can sign up for the Bookshop Santa Cruz sponsored webinar here.

I will be hosting a back yard, in-person, champaign and cookie celebration mid-July. TBA.

On July 28, my fellow Santa Cruz Woman of Mystery, Mary Flodin, and I will be selling our wares at the La Selva Beach Books & Brews. The event goes from 10 – 4.

September 9 – 11, I will be in Minneapolis at Bouchercon, the granddaddy of all crime fiction conventions. My assignment:

PANEL NAME: The Modern Gumshoe

DESCRIPTION: These modern-day Marlowes carry on the tradition of private investigation in fiction.

TIME/DATE: 4:15-5P, Saturday

LIST OF OTHER PANELISTS: Ted Hertel (Mod); David Housewright; Brad Parks (Mod 2); Jack Fredrickson; Vinnie Hansen; Stephen Lawrence Brayton

And November is the NorCal Sisters in Crime Fall Showcase. I’ll be reading there. Stay tuned.
