I’ll be reading a short segment of my soon-to-be re-released One Tough Cookie at the Young Writers Program VIP Event on May 26, 2015. This second book in my Carol Sabala series is set at Watsonville High School, and so seemed like the perfect choice for the occasion. 🙂
Beer, wine & appetizers will be served at this fun, fundraising event. Come on down to the Food Lounge, 1001 Center Street, Santa Cruz, from 5-6 p.m. Other well known Santa Cruz writers will also read. What do we have in common? We all support this wonderful program and have written forewords for their publications of student writing. I wrote the foreword to this recently published collection of essays from Aron Conger’s juniors at San Lorenzo High School.
